Our lab focuses on examining children’s cognitive, behavioral, and affective development as a function of everyday interactions with parents and teachers. The larger contexts in which these processes occur – such as school environments, communities, and structures of familial support – are integral in the formation of our research questions. Through observational research designs, our goals are to provide a detailed characterization of children’s everyday, lived experiences – and how these experiences play a role in their development.
